This document provides you with information about the services we provide and those of our representatives. It contains information about various fees and charges that may be payable by you to us, as well as certain commissions we may receive from a licensee when we are acting as a credit representative, or we pay to certain third parties. It also contains information about what you should do if you have a complaint or dispute in connection with our services as a credit representative.
We will help you to choose a loan or lease which is suitable for your purposes.
We source finance from a panel of financiers. Our current panel comprises the financiers listed below:

Under the NCCP Act, we are obliged to ensure that any loan or principal increase to a loan we help you to obtain or any lease we help you to enter is not unsuitable for you. To decide this, we may need to ask you some questions in order to assess whether the loan or lease is not unsuitable. The law requires us to:
- make reasonable inquiries about your requirements and objectives;
- make reasonable inquiries about your financial situation;
- take reasonable steps to verify that financial situation.
Credit will be unsuitable if at the time of the assessment, it is likely that at the time the credit is provided:
- you could not pay or could only pay with substantial hardship;
- the credit will not meet your requirements and objectives.
For example, if you can only repay by selling your principal place of residence, it is presumed that the loan will cause substantial hardship unless the contrary is proved. For this reason we must ask you to provide a significant amount of information. It is therefore very important that the information you provide us is accurate.
We must provide you with a copy of our preliminary credit assessment of your application if you ask within 7 years of when we assist you. We are only required to give you a copy of the credit assessment if we give you credit assistance.
If we arrange a loan for you to purchase or refinance real estate, remember you must make your own enquiries about the value of the real estate and its potential for future growth. Although we may obtain a valuation, that is for our own use and you should not rely on it.
In return for providing credit assistance, we charge a fee for our services. The maximum this fee will be is $990 including GST. In most cases, the fee will be included into the finance amount of your loan. The fee is payable once only. In the event your credit application is declined, this fee is not payable. The exact fee applicable will be disclosed before we submit your loan documents to the lender. Please contact us for further information relating to how this fee is calculated, and a reasonable estimate of this fee. There are no other fees and charges payable by you to us however you may be liable to pay fees to the financier.
In some cases, there may also be a separate where a vehicle sighting report needs to be completed by a third party. This will only be applicable for credit contracts where the applicant is purchasing a vehicle from a private seller where the private seller is not able to have the vehicle sighted by an authorised person. If this occurs, Quantum Financial Services WA will obtain consent from you before authorising a third party vehicle inspection. A reasonable estimate of this charge is $120 including GST. If a vehicle sighting report is completed by a third party, you may be required to pay this charge even if you decide to cancel your application.
Quantum Financial Services WA or its employees, or directors, may receive commissions from the lenders and lessors who provide finance for you as our customers. These are not fees payable by you. This commission may be between 0 and 15% of the amount financed under a credit contract where Quantum Financial Services WA has provided credit assistance. For example, where Quantum Financial Services WA has provided credit assistance for a credit contract where the amount financed was $35,000. If Quantum Financial Services WA were to receive 2% commission from the financier, it would equate to $700. Quantum Financial Services WA and or its employees may also receive incentives from the financiers. These incentives may be in the form of volume bonuses, conferences, training, marketing allowances, or other forms of incentives. These incentives are not ascertainable at this time. For more information relating to how commissions are worked out, and a reasonable estimate of commissions payable, please contact us.
We source referrals from a broad range of sources and we may pay that third party a fee or commission for referring you to us . Such third parties may include, but are not limited to real estate agents, accountants, mortgage brokers, financial advisors or lawyers for referring you to us. These fees/commissions are generally small amounts, but if a referral fee or commission is payable by us as a result of a credit contract we have assisted with, then we will make this known in our Credit Proposal Disclosure. These are not fees payable by you. You may, on request, obtain a reasonable estimate of those commissions and how the commission is worked out.

or by speaking to any representative of our business who will refer you to the Complaints Officer. You should explain the details of your complaint as clearly as you can. You may do this verbally or in writing. When we receive a complaint, we will attempt to resolve it promptly. We hope that in this way we will stop any unnecessary and inappropriate escalation of minor complaints.
If we do not reach agreement on your complaint, you may refer the complaint to an ASIC Approved External Dispute Resolution (EDR) Scheme. External dispute resolution is a free service established to provide you with an independent mechanism to resolve specific complaints.
